So far I have bypassed governor, ordered lift kit from jakes, fabricated and fiberglassed(another first for me also), adding recessed led taillights, recessed headlights (12" 20 bulb LEDs), found Volvo sedan bezels for headlights at pull apart junkyard and molded them in. Also from pull apart, fabbed a front bumper and brush guard from a polaris and working on a removable cooler rack for front that was a tao tao atv back rack.

fabbing windshield frame, made custom brackets. Far from done, but enjoying the hell out of it! Anybody have any ideas on folding rear seat? Still trying to work that one out.

those of us that own and/or work on these g1s need to keep sharing ideas and tips. Since obviously there is a VERY limited aftermarket for parts and accessories. They must really hate these carts since it's easier to get stuff for a g2 dawg lol

please help out on seat ideas! Thanks

1980 g1 gas, been working on it after work for a month or so.

Inst sort of a frankenstein cart, so many differing donors for parts. volvo sedan headlight bezels, f150 third lights for brake/reverse, polaris ft tony grill for front bumper/brush guard, tao tao atv rear rack becoming gemovable front cooler carrier, 3" pvc fittings for cup holders, complete reworh with roof flashing to extend and compiund curve dash for fiberglass. Almost done with fiberglass and getting ready to paint.

Waiting on lift kit. Replacing crank seals after holiday weekend is over. Cut light insets last night.

im attaching some pics, not in order, and just a few I have taken. Will send more as I continue or if asked.
