Hey all - I'm doing my research.
Thought on gas vs electric?
Is there a certain age NOT to go gas?
Is there a year NOT to go electric?
I'm sure tech has gotten better for both styles.

Thanks.
Doug

that's a can of worms there !!
nothing before 96 the older carts can be hard to find parts for
all carts have a following... i like the Ezgo TXT electric 48 volts ... i find it to have the most after market stuff
it also depends on your ability
If you can tear down a lawn mower and put it back together i would say gas cart

tell us what you are wanting it for ,... going to the deer stand or off road riding , street cruising ??

Agree with CRT…both have their pro’s & con’s. I have 2- 48v buggies because the campground we belong to will only allow electric.

Wow, project carts are hard to find.
Would you buy a 1990 club car DS 36 VOLT?
Batteries are good.
Wire harness needs to be rewired.
$1000
I know you said nothing before 1996.

Yes. Both have pros and cons. Gas is best for me. Batteries are too expensive for me since I have had 3 carts and they were all free. I would like to go electric but I need a lot more solar to charge a cart. I'm off grid in the city. Haa take that society
