need to check a micro switch, key switch or solenoid? heres a basic how-to...
start by setting your meter to the proper mode & scale (if applicable). check for voltage on the input side of the switch. then look for a matching voltage on the output side. if voltage on the output side is not present when the switch is activated, you know the switch is at fault.
in the attached photos, the AA battery represents any dc source. ie: car battery, golf cart batteries, power supply, etc.
